Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha is better well-known as Gugu Mbatha-Raw, known as a British stage and film actor that gained fame after she appeared in the "Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) show that aired on the BBC channel. Gugu was famous for her character Tish Jones on the popular BBC show. She played the role of companion to the main character called Martha Jones. The viewers loved her jovial spontaneity and there was no stopping Gugu from a successful acting career in the future! Gugu also appeared in various British stage and television productions. Her move into Los Angeles when she was 19, to explore acting. Handler was a professional actress to assist her. Handler aged just 21 years old was able to concentrate on stand-up comics full time after discovering her storytelling skills. Handler began her career in her role on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Badly which was a reality program with a hidden-camera/practical joke. Between 2002 and 2005 the show was broadcast. Handler was also featured in various programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began her work as the correspondent host on The Tonight Show. Handler got her big break after 2006 when she began running her own talk show for E! named The Chelsea Handler Show. It lasted for two seasons. Following the show, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. Stand-up comedy performances from Handler have been broadcast by VH1, Comedy Central's Premium Blend as well as HBO. In 2010 it was announced that she would host for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. By doing this, she was only the second host female ever to do so, after Roseanne.
